Firm Foundation Property Services is a family-run excavation and landscaping contractor in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, run by Josiah Lammers. The work goes back a lot further than the company does.
Our Story
It started
in the cab
Josiah was barely old enough to walk the first time his Uncle Donnie sat him in an excavator.
He grew up around that work — moving dirt, learning grade, learning from a man who believed a job wasn’t finished until it was finished right.
He runs Firm Foundation the same way.
Where the name comes from
Built on
solid rock
Matthew 7:24 is where the name came from — the person who builds on solid rock is the one whose house stands. It’s also the standard: get the base right and everything on top of it holds. True of a driveway, a patio, a drainage line.
The rest of it is Josiah’s own — the values he works by and the mission he wrote for himself: live a life of integrity.
